Titanic Hotel Owerri overhauls its top management team. Appoints Miriam Ijeoma Nwanezu and Mike-Sisa Nkwazema as General Manager and Assistant General Manager respectively.
In an effort to revitalize the hotel, the Board of Directors took this decision early February, to breath in a new life into the hotel. By introducing the duo of Miriam and Mike, to lead the management team, the BOD looks forward to improving operational efficiency, top customer services, and profitability for the hotel.
This 99-Room Hotel located on World Bank Road, Owerri, Nigeria, is a lovely boutique hotel with state of the heart facilities catering for business and leisure guests.
Miriam Ijeoma Nwanezu who was until her appointment, the Genemral manager at the Randolph Hotels Ltd. Port-Harcourt. She brings in over a decade of management and leadership experience to her new position as the GM of the Titanic Hotel Owerri.
Mike-Sisa Nkwazema, also a seasoned manager and leader, brings with him a wealth front of the house operational management experience to this exciting new role. He is to assist the General Manager Ijeoma to oversee all management functions at the hotel and will be instrumental in driving further revenue growth in the hotels.
With over a decade experience in the hotel industry and with an experience that started in 2008 at the Elca Crest Hotels, GRA Aba, in Abia State where he held virtually all positions and rising to the position of Deputy General Manager Operations, Mike has enjoyed a lofty career in the hotel industry. He has held Senior Management Positions at the Oriental Pillars Hotel & Suites, and Newcastle Hotels, both in Owerri. Until his appointment at the Titanic Hotel, Mike –Sisa Nkwazema was the Operations Manager at the Immaculate Golden Hotels, Ikenegbu, Owerri.
Having over a decade’s worth of experience as a Hotel Manager in various properties before assuming this new position as the Asst. General Manager at the Titanic, Mike –Sisa Nkwazema is no stranger to managing and leading management teams in providing exceptional service and driving revenue and profit for a hotel.
When Hospitality360 Africa visited the Titanic Hotel, the New General Manager was not available to speak to us, however, we caught up with her assistant, Mr Mike –Sisa Nkwazema, who expressed utmost confidence in the General Manager, Ijeoma and aims to work with her and the entire staff of the hotel to provide a warm and friendly environment for the hotel guests by creating engaging experiences from within.
